WM. H. SHREVE DEAD. T

The remains of Wm. H. Shreve, who died at his residence 3833 Garfield, Avenue, Kansas City, Mo., Wednesday, August 31, were brought to Olathe Friday of last week for interment in the Olathe cemetery, where four daughters are buried. In the 70's Mr. Shreve came to this county from Kansas City and located on a farm south of Spring Hill, where he resided until 81' when he moved to Olathe and engaged in the hotel and general merchandise busines in the east end. He continued his residence here until 1890 when he moved to Kansas City, where he retired from business, living a quiet life until his death, which was natural, resulting from old age. He was 75 years old. Many old acquaintances, in Johnson county will remember Mr. Shreve and regret to learn of his death. He leaves a wife and seven sons to mourn their loss. All members of the family were present at the burial here except two sons, on in St. Louis and one in the Phillipines.
