Mrs. Mary A. Parker, wife of Geo, W. Parker, died after a long and painful illness last Saturday morning, in the 51st year of her age. The funeral services were held at the family residence in East Olathe at 1:30 o' clock p, m. Sunday, conducted by Rev. A. W. Bishop, of Kansas City, and was numerously attended by friends and neighbors of the deceased. Mrs. Parker bore her great suffering uncomplainingly, and was always pleasant and at times even cheerful the many years that she was afflicted. The funeral cortege accompanying the remains to the crave in Olathe cemetery was one of the largest ever witnessed in Olathe.
