Mrs. J. B. White, of this city, died about 6 o'clock Sunday evening, of cancer in the stomach, and was buried in the city cemetery Tuesday afternoon.  The funeral services were held at the family residence on Water street, Rev. Worrell officiating. Mrs. White  had been confined to her bed nearly two months, although she had been suffering with the disease for four or five years. She was quite extensively known and was one of Johnson county's most estimable ladies. She raised a family of three children, all of whom are an honor to the community which they reside. Her husband is known as one of the leading dry goods merchants of this city.
