Mrs. Elizabeth Nichols died at the residence of her son, Jesse Nichols, Monday morning at 2 o'clock, a.m., aged 86 years. Paralysis and old age was the cause of her death. The funeral took place from the residence on north Cherry street at 1 o'clock Tuesday, the services being conducted by Rev. A. V. Stout. A large number of old friends and neighbors accompanied the remains to their resting place in Olathe cemetery.
