June Aretha Lorius, 88, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Circle of Life Hospice – Legacy in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born on September 28, 1922 in Olathe, Kansas to Harry Carver and Clara Berner Carver.



Longtime resident of Olathe, her grandparents were early settlers of Olathe. She was an active member of the First United Presbyterian Church where she served in the Women’s Ministries for many years. She and husband, Richard moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1980 and have resided there to the present time.



She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard “Dick” Lorius of Bella Vista, Arkansas; three daughters, Karen Falls of Olathe, Kansas, Marsha Penner and husband Ron of Houston, Texas and Donna Johnson and husband Gail of Wichita, Kansas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.



A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 East Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas with Reverend Richard Lindman officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Olathe Memorial Cemetery in Olathe, Kansas.
