The Life of Sanford Greenstein

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sanford Greenstein. Sande passed away Wednesday morning, May 16th, at age of 76, surrounded by his family at his bedside. Sande became ill in late March and fought hard to overcome his condition, but was unable to carry on any longer.

Sande retired from the Air Force, after 23 years of service, at the rank of Major, and proudly served his country in Vietnam. Sande was a devoted family man, a dedicated friend and co-worker and a wonderful man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years; Shirley, 2 sons; Terry (Barbara) and Dennis (Michelle), 5 grandchildren; Patrick (Kyli), Matthew (Amy), Kaylee, Samantha and Nicole and 2 sisters; Eileen Cohen and Joan Adest.

Visitation will be at 11:00a.m.Saturday May 19th at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home-Olathe, services following at 12:00 pm with burial immediately following the service with full military honors in Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
