The Life of Benjamin Franklin Hewitt

B. F. "Ben" Hewitt, an old and highly respected citizen of Olathe, died from blood poisoning produced by a spider bite. Mr. Hewitt had for almost 40 years been a traveling salesman, starting his career at age 16 representing a Kansas City wholesale grocery. His territory included southern Kansas, Oklahoma and northern Texas. Three years ago he quit the road and went into business in Olathe.

He is survived by his wife and three children. He is a brother to Dr. C. B. Hewitt, Kansas City dentist. Funeral today from his home in Olathe.
