Kansas Woman Dies
Cherryvale, May 24 - Mrs. Pearl Grigg, wife of Bert Grigg, former chief of police here, died in a hospital in Chanute last night following an operation Monday. Funeral services will be held here Friday and burial will be in Olathe, her former home.

Pearl passed away at the age of 38 from gall bladder disease. She was buried on May 24, 1928 next to Frank Lyman Crist.

Daughter was Helen Louise (b. 1914 KS; census indicates Robert adopted Helen and both her parents were born in Kansas), Husband Robert G. "Bert" (b. Mar 1875 OH), mother-in-law Elizabeth Grigg (b. 1835 Michigan).
Her father was born in West Va and her mother in Virginia.
