The body of Josiah Higgins, who died at University Hosipital, at Kansas City, was brought to Olathe Thursday evening of last week and the funeral held from Ryan's undertaking rooms at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon. The deceased was 70 years old and leaves a wife and five children to mourn their loss. A daughter, living at Scranton, Kansas, and a son. Wm. C. Higgins, of Silver Lake, Wisconsin, were both here to attend the funeral. Mr. Higgins' death resulted from injuries received by a tree falling on him on the 17th of last month.
