Steven Walter DeVore, born August 8, 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska to Walter and Irene DeVore, passed away December 16, 2012 in Shawnee, KS. He is survived by three sisters; Janice DeVore, Omaha, NE, Linda Cantwell, Bethany, OK, and Sharen Miller, Olathe, KS. Other family members include: two brothers-in-law, Larry Miller and Richard Cantwell, two nieces, Julie Cantwell and Jesse Miller, five nephews, Richard Cantwell, Jr., Danny Cantwell, Jason Miller, Josh Miller, and Jeremy Miller and five great nieces and two great nephews. He lived in Omaha, Nebraska until 1982 and then spent his remaining years in the Kansas City area. He was beloved by all his family and was a gentle, generous person to all he met seeking to make them laugh and happy. Private family services will be held.
