SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. CHRISTY.
 
Mrs. Margaret A. Christy died Monday night at 12 o'clock from a stroke of paralysis which she suffered about noon of that day. 
 
Mrs. Christy was down town in the morning apparently enjoying the best of health. She went home about 11 o'clock and had begun her preparations for dinner, when the stroke came, but it was not until 3 o'clock in the afternoon that she was found lying on the floor by Mrs. S. Hisey who had gone to the house on an errand. Dr. Hastings was summoned but Mrs. Christy never regained consciousness.
 
The funeral services will be held from the Christian church at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Margaret A. Crawford was born in New Vienna, Ohio, in 1833 and was married to Dr. S. A. Christy December 26, 1855. With her husband she came to Olathe in 1873 and has since made this her home. Dr. Christy departed this life a number of years ago. Two daughters Mrs. H. D. Smith of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Nettie Lee Christy, a teacher in the institution for the deaf, and son Frank of Kansas City survive her.
 
The death of Mrs. Christy comes as a shock to her many Olathe friends and the family have the deepest sympathy of all.
