Funeral Services Held At M.E. church Here Monday Afternoon - Burial In Olathe Cemetery

The sad and shocking news of the death of Johnnie Bradshaw reached Olathe Saturday. Death followed an operation in Memorial hospital in Cheyenne, Friday.

Mr. bradshaw came home at noon Friday, complaining of abdominal pains. He was taken to the hospital and died at 8 o'clock on the operating table.

John O. Bradshaw was 50 years old, the only son of Mrs. A.J. Walker and the late Harry Bradshaw, of Olathe. He was born near Olathe, went to school here, and as a young man assisted his father and brother-in-law, Henry Gradner in the Bradshaw Second Hand Furniture store, a widely know business firm.

A number of years ago Mr. Bradshaw moved to cheyenne, Wyo. where he operated a furniture store. He was a traveling salesman for a time, and lived a short time in Pueblo and La Junta, Colo.

He was married to Kathryn Losh of Olathek daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Losh, prominent residents of this vicinity.

Mr. Bradshaw leaves his widow Mrs. Kathryn Bradshaw, of the home in Cheyenne, 2 daughters, Mrs. Nadine Crane of Cheyenne, Mrs. Bernice Clarke, Denver, and a son, J. Phillip bradshaw; his mother, Mrs. A.J. Walker and a sister, Mrs. Henry Gardner, both of Olathe.
 
Funeral serivces were held at the Olathe Methodist church Monday afternoon, June 21, conducted by the rev. E.M. Frank. Burial in the Olathe cemetery, Julien Mortuary in charge.

Pall bearers were George Nrris, Earl Garrett, Bert Rogers, Will Hyer, E.W. Miller and Frank Hedrick.

Those assisted with the flowers were Mrs. E.N. Garrett, Mrs. F.V. Williams, Mrs. W.H. Hyer, Mrs., Will Campbell, Mrs. Mame Norris, Mrs. F.D. Hodges Mrs. C. G Payne, Mrs. Lloyd Hamill, Mrs. J.S. Pellett and Mrs. H.D. Lantez.
