The Life of Nancy E Wyman

Died, at her home in south west Olathe, July 7, Mrs. Nancy E.  Wyman, wife of W. B. Wyman. Funeral services were held at the family residence SundayJuly 8, at 10 o'clock a.m., conducted by Rev. Edgar, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Olathe cemetery.
Mrs. Wyman was a great sufferer for many years and at times the pain and suffering affected her mind. She was always a kindhearted Christain wife and mother. She loved children and was always doing or saying something for their betterment. The following good advice was , written by her and published in their former home paper:
"A wise mother was wont to say to her sons,. "Boys, remember the Devil will willingly help you into trouble, but he will never help you out."
Ah, what truth and wisdom in those words. How thankful those boys are today to that godly mother for repeating them so often and so impressively in their ears. -Boys, young men, read them over; think of them; call them up when the Devil is trying to lead you into the saloon, the gambling den, the variety theatre, the brothel, for by so doing you may both save yourselves and others."
