OBITUARY.

H.Zonne was born in Ganda, Holland on October 13th, 1833. He departed life at the home of Mrs. Geo. Hambel near Stanley on Jan. 1st, aged 84 years , 2 months and 18 days.

He was a staunch Christian gentleman, a lovIng husband and affectionate father. His wife and two children morn deeply his, loss.

From the age of 17 he was actively identified with the church of the Presbyterian order first, in Holland, then in 1869 at Cape  Grendean, Mo., Later at Platte City, Mo., At the latter place he lived for 18 .years. During 12 of those years he was a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian church and for 13 years the Sunday school superintendent. About three years ago he moved to Lawrence, Kansas, and brought his church letter with him, and a few months ago to the home of Mrs. Geo. Hambel, where he died.

He was burled in the cemetery at Olathe, Kansas, Jan. 3, 1907, Rev. N. A. Shedd officiating.
