Death of Roy. Brooks Roy Brooks and Ella. Janes were married on March 26,1884, and Monday his family brought him home from. Denver and laid-him to rest in the family lot in the Ola the cemetery. In the span of time between those dates was lived a portion of an upright Christian life best known to the people of Olathe, A few years ago Mr. Brooks and his family moved to Denver where Roy, or as his, full name was; Le roy B. Brooks was born on the 4th day of September, 1862 in Zanes ville, Ohio, and he died on the 19th day of April, 1930, at his home in Denver, Colorado. He thus had at tained the age of G7 years, 7 months and 15 days. He was the son of The Reverend and Mrs. A. R. Broolisi who moved to Olathe, from Illinois. Roy and Flla Brooks. had live children. Brooks of Farmington, New Mex ico, is at the head of the Navajo Mission School. A daughter, Nellie, lived with her parents in Denver.
