She was a faithful, earnest Christian, alwavs cheerful and bright, ready for duty whether it was great or small and seemed to find her greatest joy in her service for the Master.

The funeral services were held Monday at 2 p. m. in the Christian church which was filled with her friends. There were many beautiful flowers given by the Sunday school. C. E. society and intimate friends.

"Sister thou wast mild and lovely.
Gentle as the summer breeze,
Pleasant as the air of evening
When it floats among the trees.

Peaceful be thy silent slumber,
Peaceful in the grave so low;
Thou no more will join our number.
Thou bo more our songs shall know.

Dearest sister thou hast left us.
Here thy loss we deeply feel,
But 'tis God that has bereft us
He can all our sorrows heal.

Yet again we hope to meet thee
When the day of life is fled
There in heaven with joy to greet thee.
Where no farewell tear is shed."
