The Life of James Monroe Metcalf
J. M. Metcalf died Wednesday morning at his home at Hotel Olathe after a prolonged illness. Some months ago he was stricken with paralysis, from which he only partially recovered and his death was not unexpected. He was sixty-one years old and had long been a respected citizen, having been for many years a farmer in Olathe township before moving to town. The funeral will occur from Hotel Olathe to-day at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. M. E. Goddard and Rev. A. V. Stout.
