-Died  - May 12, 1887, Florence Laws, who came to Olathe from Boulder, Col., March 17th, to try a change of climate for heart disease. She was twelve years old on the day of her arrival here, in company with her mother and other members of the family. The funeral services were held at the residence of her uncle, Dr. O. S. Laws, by the Rev It. I'. Stephenson, pastor of the Baptist church. She was a bright and lovely child, and will be sadly missed by those she left behind.
