Mr. P. R. Pummill died very suddenly and unexpectedly at his home seven miles west of Olathe, Monday night. He had been complaining of a sore throat for a day or two and was taking medicine prescribed for the trouble. Monday night he retired, a young man watching by the bedside to give the medicine at the regular hour as prescribed, and not because his condition was thought to be dangerous. After a time Mr. Pummill was seized with a choking spell, struggled for a brief time, when all was over.
