Death of Mrs. Rosco C. White.

Mrs. Roscoe C. White, whose death occurred on Tuesday, January 28, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Murphy, Cedar Junction, was buried in the Olathe cemetery Friday afternoon at 1:30, the. service being conducted by Rev. Appleby. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband, who was buried there just ten days before.

After the funeral of her husband she returned to the home of her parents on the 21st, and only five days later died with influenza, followed by pneumonia.

 Nellie Lillian Murphy was born in Montlcello township. May 30, 1895, and spent the early part of her life here where she graduated from the grade schools June 19. 1911. She was married to Roscoe C. White, Olathe, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. White, January 9, 1916. They moved to California, later going to Cleveland, Ohio, and Lyon Mountain, New York. For more than a year past they had been on the farm at Merwin, Mo., until in the winter they went to Kansas City.

She is survived by her parents, three brothers, brothers, Rollie, in France, Marion, Ohio, Mrs. Gladys Strickland, De Soto, and Harold and Thelma of the home address. Of sweet, disposition and extremely pleasing v personality. Mrs. White had friends by the score that clung to her as a child and remained true in womanhood.
