The Death of Mr. McDuff Ward

The death of Mr. McDuff Ward occurred at his home on east Loula street, Tuesday, March 6th, at 9 o’clock, and the funeral service was held at the home at 3 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Orton. Burial was made in the plot allotted to the old soldiers in the Olathe cemetery.

Mr. ward is survived by his wife, a son, C.G., Olathe, and a daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Walton, of Bera, Illinois. A suitable obituary of this fine old gentleman, a veteran of our Civil war will be published next week
