Sergt. Joseph Milton Anderson, U.S. marine corps, was killed June 20 at Okinawa, according to word received last Thursday by his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of the Monticello community. Joe was 26 eyars old. He entered the marines in January 1937, graduated from Olathe high school in 1936. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Anderson of Quantico, Va., who is here with his parents; two brothers, George Anderson, Kansas City, Mo., and John Anderson.
