Eden was born on March 21, 1969 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Robert Lee Adler and Sue Elaine (Katzberg) Ward. She graduated from Gardner-Edgerton High School. Eden attended college of Hair Design where she obtained her license of Cosmetology. During her career she was self employed at various salons throughout Johnson County. Most recently working at Beauty Escentuals Salon in Overland Park.

Eden enjoyed spending time with friends, family and her grandson Quincy (aka “Little Peanut”). The family would like to thank Dr. Myron and Rose for Eden’s excellent care and the compassionate and loving service provided by the staff at Kansas City Hospice House. Eden will truly be missed by those touched by her.

Eden is preceded in death by her father Robert Adler, brother Andy Adler and great niece Ryenne Hicks. Survivors include her mother Sue Ward and her husband John, daughter Jaden and son Treston. She will be sadly missed by her loving grandson Quincy, brother Barry Adler, sister Kelly Vandewynkle, best friend Lizz Bush along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Eden’s Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Westside Family Church 8500 Woodsonia Drive Lenexa, Kansas. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
