The Life of ELIZABETH MARLOW
James W. Marlow, Sr., was born July 17, 1921. He passed away November 6, 2012. James proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. He was employed by A & P Grocery for 35 years.
Elizabeth (Staude) Marlow, was born August 30, 1923. She passed away October 27, 2015. Elizabeth was a homemaker and worked at Younkers for over 20 years. They were married July 19, 1942.
Their memory will be treasured by children, James Jr. (Sheila) Marlow, Mary Davis, Gerald (Marsha) Marlow, and Peggy (Gary) Epstein; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; James'' sisters, Judith Fusaro and Janice Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
They were preceded in death by son-in-law, Chris Davis, Sr.; an infant daughter; their parents; and siblings.
A joint memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with inurnment of cremated remains to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association of Central Iowa or the Iowa Veteran''s Home in Marshalltown.
