The Life of JOSEPH POWERS HOSMAN
Joseph Hosman, 66, was born July 31, 1948, to Bernard and Mary Hosman, Sr. He passed away at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines on May 4, 2015.
Joseph was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed playing the slots and bingo. He was personable, had a free spirit, and loved to talk with everyone he came in contact with. Joseph spent most of his career driving truck.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Patty; children, David (Christina) Riedel and Jennifer (Justin Jones) Hosman; grandchildren, Amber, Alex, Erin and Kory; brother, Bernie (Joan) Hosman; and sister, Barbara (Lonnie) Wells; nieces and nephews, John, Scott, Gidget, Brad, Mindy and Chad. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant grandson, Joseph; and infant brother, Paul.
A celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at American Legion, 3712 2nd Ave, Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be made to Taylor House Hospice in loving memory of Joseph.
