The Life of LENA FERNE MCFALL
Services for Lena Ferne McFall, 82, of 3716 E. 39th St. will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hope Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. McFall died at Iowa Methodist Medical Center Saturday of complications following bowel surgery.
Born in Hamilton, Mrs. McFall lived in Lovilla prior to moving to Des Moines about 65 years ago. She had been a cashier for Livington Shoe Store.
Survivors include her husband, Earl; a daughter, Marjorie McPherson of Des Moines; a son, Donald of Moyers, Okla.; a sister, Nell Leroy of Oskaloosa; four brothers, Harold Waters and Pat Waters, both of Lovilia, Raymond Waters of Des Moines and Dave Waters of West Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Diesease and Related Disorders Association.
