The Life of FRANCES ELLEN CROUCH
Frances E. "Frankie" Crouch, age 93 of Prairie City, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015, at Mitchell Village Care Center. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. John & Paul Catholic Church in Altoona. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines. Visitation for Frankie will take place on Monday, March 23, 2015, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The daughter of James and Mary (Phelan) Moore, Frankie was born on March 4, 1922, in Valeria. She grew up in Valeria and graduated from Mingo High School. After high school she went on to graduate from AIB in Des Moines. On June 26, 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert Crouch. Bob and Frankie owned and operated Bob & Frankie''s Evergreen Inn in Mitchellville for many years.
Those left to honor her memory include her children; William Crouch, Patrick Crouch, Mark (Sandy) Crouch and Mary Exley; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a son, Michael and her siblings, Mary, Peg, Cecilia, Bill and Katherine.
