The Life of DELORES ELAINE STOTLER
Delores E. Stotler, 82, of Des Moines died at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola on Friday, February 13, 2015. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 18 at Iles Funeral Homes – Grandview Park Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Delores was born in St. Ansgar, IA on February 10, 1933 to Rudolph and Irma (Kroneman) Gemaehlich. She Lived in Kanasas City, MO and Manbank, TX before moving to Des Moines in 1989. She retired from Swanson Corporation. Delores was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Eagles Club, where she met her husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gil Stotler in 2013. Delores is survived by her brother, Aldro R. (Bonnie) Gemaehlich; five children and their families including: son, Dean (Vicki) Cooper; grandson, Daniel (Kristen) Cooper with great grandchildren, William and Katelyn; grandson, Dustin (Angie) Cooper with great grandchildren, Coleman and Charlotte; and grandson, Nathaniel (Rachel) Cooper with great grandchildren, Rylan and Kerrington; daughter, Connie (Bill) Miller; grandson, Jerry (Brandy) Carlson with great grandchildren, Emma and William; granddaughter, Selina (Brandin) Baker with great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex, Joseph and Natalia; son, Keith Cooper; grandson, Brad with great grandchildren, Britteny and Brennen; grandson, Brian Cooper with great grandson, Dayton; and granddaughter, Christina Cooper; daughter, Gloria (Eric) Klingston; grandson, Milo Abma with great grandson, Aaron; grandson, Mark (Valerie) Abma with great grandchildren, Meadow and Genivieve; granddaughter, Daisy (Brandon) Grotsma with great grandchildren, Wesson and Colt; granddaughter, Abby (B.J.) Verwers with great grandson, Jacob; granddaughter, Chasity Powell with great granddaughter, Melissa; and grandson, Chad Maas; and son, Lynn Cooper.
