The Life of Eva Pawchyk Kwoka

Eva Kwoka, 90 years entered into eternal rest Oct 25, 2014. She leaves behind her loving son David and his wife Dianne and her two precious grandchildren, Katelyn and Suzanne of South Glastonbury. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael Kwoka. Eva was born in Ansonia, May 15, 1924 to the late Pawel and Theodosia (Bodak) Pawchyk. She was predeceased by her brothers Dimetro Pawchyk, Peter Pawchyk, and John Pawchyk , and sisters Mary Lombardi, Anna Spakowsky, and Julia Stuppin. She was a devoted member of the Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Ansonia, CT. Eva was the retired bookkeeper at Oxford Paint and Hardware which was founded in 1956 by her husband and his brother Paul, and which continues to thrive as a family owned, full service lumber yard under the ownership of her dearest nephews Michael, John, and Al Quoka. Her family extends special thanks to Paulina Chappell who provided Eva with exceptional care and companionship over the last 2 years. The family is also grateful for the compassionate care provided by the entire Atria staff. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7PM with a Parastas Service at 6PM in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St, Seymour, CT. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at Three Saints Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Ave Ansonia at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia CT.
