The Life of NILE M ILES
Nile M. Iles, 71, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014. The family will receive friends from 12:30- 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 p.m at the church.
Nile was born on February 24, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a graduate of North High School and attended Grandview and Parsons colleges. He married Jerilyn on December 19, 1970 in Des Moines and they made their home in Johnston. Nile retired from DeVere Company, Inc, Janesville, WI on December 31, 2013. He also served in the Iowa National Guard.
Nile will be greatly missed by his wife, Jerilyn; daughter, Taige (Travis) Mollendor; son, Tyson (Lissa) Iles; six grandsons, Garrett, Grant, and Gage Mollendor, Tate, Luke, and Beck Iles; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and James Iles.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for donation to various charities or to a charity of one''s choice.
The family extends extreme gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey Bebensee and Dr. Thomas Buroker and their staff for their constant care and support.
