The Life of CONSTANCE A FRY

Constance A. (Bufty) Fry, 78, of Fleetwood, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of Craig A. Fry, with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage. Born in Kearny, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Constance (Yulanavage) Bufty. Connie graduated from Central Catholic High School and was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C., Women's Club of Fleetwood, Fleetwood High School Music Association Parent Leaders, and was on the board at Fleetwood Library. Connie was the Director of St. Catharine of Siena Prep for many years until her retirement. She loved to read and collect books, garden, especially her summer plants, and look for a bargain at Marshalls and TJ Maxx. She was known to her grandchildren as the silly grandparent, and enjoyed her many years of being the "lifeguard in the backyard pool" while they were swimming. She always looked forward to her lunch and dinner dates with the lady's throughout the years. In addition to her husband, Connie is survived by her son Chris, and her daughter Janel, wife of Matthew Smith, as well as her four grandchildren; Alaina, Ryan, Paige, and Liam. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with A Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 am in St. Catherine Of Siena Chapel, 2425 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, Pennsylvania 19606. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Catharine of Sienna R.C.C.
