The Life of WILMA AILENE MURDOCK
Wilma Ailene Murdock, 87, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014. Wilma was born October 14, 1926 in Cleveland, Missouri, the daughter of Joe and Thelma Lancaster. She was a member of Sheridan Park United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Murdock, her parents, one sister and three brothers.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Jaylene (Marvin) Barton of Des Moines; grandsons, Ryan Barton and Kevin (Julie) Barton; and great-grandchildren, Rihanna, Cody, and Cael.
Wilma’s service will be at Sheridan Park United Methodist Church, 4100 East Sheridan Ave, on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
