Obituary for Cherie Sherwood
Services for Cherie Lee (Hester) Sherwood, 60, will be 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial services will be noon Wednesday at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. Born Oct. 3, 1953, in Painesville, she passed away Feb. 22, 2014, at her home in Euclid. Cherie had been a medical transcriptionist for the Lake Hospital System for 37 years. Survivors are her children, Ryan Sherwood, Jeremy Sherwood and Lauren Sherwood; grandson, Anthony Sherwood; and brothers, Gary (Phyllis) Hester and Marc (Lori) Hester. Cherie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Marjorie (Hemming) Hester.
