Sondra Jean McHan
Sondra Jean McHan, 74, resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014.
She was born on November 21, 1939 in Uniontown, Pa. to the late William Crawford and Margaret Prince. Sondra retired from Summit County Environmental Services after 24 years. She loved watching the Cleveland Indians, Friday Night Poker with the family and bus trips with her daughters. She always took great care of all of her family members and went to great lengths to entertain them over the holidays.
Sondra was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Paul and Jerome Crawford. She is survived by her daughters, Jill (Lucky) Thomas, Beth Ann (Howard) McHan-Davis and Paula (Chris) McHan; brothers, William (Janice), Arnold (Nancy), David (Trudy), James (Cheryl) and Larry Crawford and Jason (Diana) Teets; sisters, Nancy Crawford and Margaret Teets; honorary daughter, Trina (Keith); grandchildren, Eric (Shannon), Joel, Kayla, Scott and Kassidy; many other relatives, Richard Warren, and special caregiver, Jodie.
Friends and family may call 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
