Ilona Ilene Sellers
Ilona Ilene Sellers, 67, passed away on January 21, 2014 in Las Vegas.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois and lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio. She later resided in Las Vegas with her husband, Raymond Sellers.
Ilona accepted Christ at an early age. She was a former member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio.
Ilene will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Raymond; and sons, Tim Jackson, of Orlando, Florida and Craig (Donita) Jackson, of Cincinnati, Ohio; stepson, Christopher Sellers, of Akron, Ohio. In addition, she is survived by her mother, Lucy Jones Ebenezer; six grandchildren; sisters, twin, Alona (Joseph) Coleman, LuAnn (John) White, both of Akron, Ohio, and Maxine Ebenezer, of Phoenix, Arizona; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Service will be held Friday, January 31, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Reverend Doctor Alicia Malone officiating. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to the funeral home.
