Eva L. Veal, 81, went home to be with the Lord January 11, 2014.
She was born in Eufala, Ala. and was a member of Zion Temple Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Willie Jackson and Eula Jackson, she is survived by sons, Rodney (Kimberly) Jackson of Norfolk, Va. and Michael (Shellie) Veal of Orlando, Fla.; daughters, Twannda Veal, Tonya Veal, both of Akron and Kimberly (Rickey) Robinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Willa Johnson of Akron and Lillie Parker of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 12 noon at Zion Temple Baptist Church, 515 Ardella Ave., with Pastor Mark Tony Ward officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1225 Sparhawk Ave., Akron 44305
