Obituary for Ida Rhodes
IDA Ida Rhodes, a 71 year old Ansonia resident, passed away December 13, 2013. She was born in Ansonia May 26, 1942 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Samuel Lee Rhodes and Beersheba Rhodes of Ansonia. Ida worked as a psychiatric social worker for S.E. CT Mental Health Center as well as the Dept. of Corrections in Bridgeport. In addition to her mother Beersheba, she leaves to cherish her memory her brother Lynvert Rhodes of Norwich and nephew Santo Rhodes of Meriden, and 2 other nephews & 3 nieces. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother Sammy Lee Rhodes Jr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, (TOMORROW) 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. Friends may call on Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service begins
