Obituary for Betty Ruth Turkall

Bettyruth (Tench) Turkall, 76, passed away Dec. 15, 2013, in Kirtland.
Born Aug. 7, 1937, in Euclid, she was known as ""Sis"" to her family and ""B.R."" to her friends.
She graduated from Euclid High School in 1955, and attended Lakeland Community College.
Bettyruth wed Joseph Edward Turkall Jr. on Feb. 4, 1956, at Old Stone Church in Cleveland.
Mrs. Turkall enjoyed working at Edison Elementary School with the students in the after-school program and as secretary for Glory Gymnastics. She was a devout Christian who enjoyed traveling with her husband to their Florida home, and loved Thursday card nights with Aunt Pauline and lunch dates with close family members, treasured her grandchildren and enjoyed her one-on-one birthday celebrations with them. She loved her summer nights with family and friends on the patio.
Mom''s love language was providing care, presence and love. This is the greatest gift we can give each other. We now know she is dancing with the love of her life! We love you, Mom.
Mrs. Turkall was the wonderful mother of Jody (Kathy) Turkall, Beth (Royal) Brettrager, Amy (Tim Busch) Delande and Jill (Mark) Golnick; beautiful grandmother of Joseph, Jacob, D.J., Chelsea (Dominik), Drake, Royal, Michael (Megan), Elizabeth, William, Evan, Zack and Kate; and great-grandmother to Dylan and baby peanut. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael (Margerette) Tench and Thomas (Kim) Tench.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Joseph Edward Turkall Jr.; and parents, Michael and Frances Tench.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, with services at 6:30 p.m. at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home.  A private burial will be observed by the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Western Reserve.
