Obituary for Mary Ann Pfund
MARY ANN PFUND
AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Youngstown for Mary Ann Pfund, 72, who passed away Thursday at Hospice House.
Mary Ann was born Dec. 14, 1940, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Earle and Katherine (Mallog) Pfund.
Mary Ann graduated from Austintown Fitch High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree from Westminster in education. She was a teacher for over 30 years with the Austintown Schools at Woodside Elementary. Mary Ann was a very loyal and active member of St. John Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and “The Gang.”
Mary Ann leaves her sister, Kathleen (Ray) Orlovsky of Campbell; her brother, Earle M. Pfund Jr. of Austintown; her five nieces and nephews, Raymond (Kim) Orlovsky, Steven Orlovsky, Paul (Taryn) Orlovsky, Michele (Michael) Chenelle, and Michael (Danielle) Pfund; and four great-nieces and nephews, Aiden, Grayson, Owen and Rylie.
Mary Ann was also preceded in death by a great-niece, Elise Orlovsky.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel and Monday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church.

Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
