Raymond N. Anderson

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Raymond N. Anderson, age 92, died December 3, 2013.

He was born in Petersburg, West Virginia and had been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls since 1960, recently moving to Rockynol. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and had been an educator in Copley, Akron and Cuyahoga Falls since 1950. He retired from the Cuyahoga Falls school system in 1979 and was a member and Life Deacon of First Baptist Church of Akron.

Ray was preceded in death November 2nd by his wife of 72 years, Helen. He is survived by sister, Juanita Peterson of Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.

Calling hour will be one hour before the service at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, 44333, where service will be held at 11 a.m. TODAY with Rev. Myron Lindsey officiating. Final resting place, Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in his memory to the Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market St., P.O. Box 547, Akron, OH 44309-0547.
