Obituary for Crescenzo Dechellis

CRESCENZO DECHELLIS BOARDMAN – Services will be on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian burial at 2 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish (St. Nicholas Church), both in Struthers for Crescenzo DeChellis, 90, who passed away on Thursday morning. Crescenzo was born on Jan. 15, 1923, in Pacentro, Provincia of L’Aquila, Italy, a son of Paquale and Mariannina Battaglini DeChellis. He served in the Italian Army during World War II, before coming to the United States in 1955. He worked as a laborer at the Calex Corporation in Campbell for 27 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. Crescenzo married the former Maria DeMartinis on June 10, 1957. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Pasquale (Lynn) DeChellis and Enzo DeChelllis and one daughter, Mary Ann (Robert) Graff, all of Boardman. He also leaves five grandchildren, Danielle, Christopher, Dante, and Gina DeChellis, and Adam Graff. Friends may call on Sunday at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers from 4 to 7 p.m
