Obituary for Richard McAdams

Richard Horn McAdams, 93, of Mentor, passed away Nov. 23, 2013. He was born Sept. 2, 1920, in Dalton, to John C. and Della (nee Horn) McAdams. He graduated from Dalton High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 10th Armored Division throughout the war. He was a tank crewman and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was a survivor of the Siege of Bastogne. Richard worked in office management in several companies, including the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Survivors are his two sons, Mark (Kathryn), and Craig. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (nee Smith); his parents; and brothers, Jack, Mack and Frank. There will be no calling hours or services held.
