Valorie L. Peake, 57, went home to be with the Lord October 29, 2013.
Born in Barberton, Ohio, she was a lifetime resident of this community and was a member of St. Paul FBH Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; brother, John Pugh Jr. and sister, Diane Dent. She is survived by sons, Derrice (Lacey) Pugh of Billings, Montana, Tornondo and Tywon Pugh; daughters, Natasha and Ny''Isha Peake, all of Akron; brothers, Hillery (Debbie), Timothy (Julia) and Michael Pugh; sisters, Delores Byrd, Veronica (Shorter) Griffin, Paula Spruill, Ella Watkins, Christy (Willie) Thompson and Deborah Pugh; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, November 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave. with Pastor Richard Taylor officiating. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1821 Shaw Ave., 44305.
