Marvin L. Pervall II "Boogie"
Marvin L. Pervall II "Boogie", 41, departed this life suddenly on August 2, 2013.
He was the only child born February 13, 1972 to Marvin L. Pervall Sr. and Barbara Scott. Marvin graduated from Buchtel High School in 1990. He had been employed by Akron Public Schools since 2009 as Assistant Head Custodian at Firestone Park Elementary School. He was well loved in the West Akron Community.
He was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, Jesse C. Scott Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of two years, Kelly A. (Fisher) Pervall; children, Sierra and Aleaya Pervall of Ravenna, Ohio, Emari and Marvin Lewis Pervall III of Kent, Ohio; stepchildren, Barry III and Constance Hairston of Akron, Ohio; loving mother, Barbara Scott of Aurora, Colo.; devoted father, Marvin Pervall, Sr. (Lee) of Copley, Ohio; special brother, Brandon M. Scott (Ebony) of Barberton, Ohio; grandmother, Juanita Ford of Aurora, Colo.; special nephew, Brandon M. Scott of Georgia; special aunt and uncle, Doretha and Michael Williams of Akron, Ohio; special in-laws, Gerald and Devra Fisher of Akron, Ohio; aunts, Vertine Powell, Maxine Jackson, Eileen McIntosh, Inez Pervall, and Mary Rancher; uncles, Richard L. Folds, Jr. (Karen), and Ronald Folds; cousin, Rhonda Minter; and many other relatives and friends.
Service will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 12 p.m. at The House of The Lord, 1650 Diagonal Rd., Akron, OH 44320, Pastor Dennis K. Butts, Sr. officiating. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may
