Dianna "Diane" Jones Whitehurst passed away on October 20, 2013.
Born on October 12, 1961 to Earnest and Christine Jones.
She leaves to cherish her mother, Christine Jones and the late Earnest Jones; husband, Miguel Whitehurst of 14 years; children, Shamica Chittams of North Carolina, William Jones and DeShawn Jones of Akron Ohio; sisters, Earnestine (Mack) Clopton of Alabama, Lisa (Alfonzo) Burton of Alabama and Kim Fisher of Akron Oho; brothers, Earnest Jones, Jr. and Rodney Jones all of Akron Ohio; eight grandkids, Lil Shawn, Ariyana, LaAiry, Aaliyah, Lil Will, Sevyn, Layla, and Amanni; best friend, Jamey Thomas; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 28, 2013 at 12 noon at Macedonia Baptist Church, 940 McKinley Ave. with Rev. Lorenzo Glenn officiating. Friends may call at the church on Monday, from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1218 Burkhardt Ave., 44301.
