Obituary for Flora E. Fye
Graveside services and interment for Flora E. (Mehalic) Fye, 90, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.Mrs. Fye passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Hospice House in Cleveland.Born May 28, 1923, in Arcadia, Pa., she had lived in Willoughby for more than 50 years.Flora loved gardening and feeding the squirrels and birds around her home.She is survived by her sons, Joseph Fye of Bentonville, Ark., and Jonce Fye of Raleigh, N.C.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters; and four brothers.Her husband, Mitchell Ardell Fye, passed away in 1979. Her parents, Stephen and Sarah Mehalic; two sisters; and two brothers also are deceased.
