Obituary for Adam B. Hager

Adam Benjamin Hager, 41, of Monaca, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Oct. 28, 2013. Born May 7, 1972, in Parma, he was the son of Marilyn Hager-Fuge of Mercer, Pa., and the late Absoloam Benjamin Hager. Adam was a graduate of Slippery Rock University, where he received both a bachelor''s degree and later a master''s degree in psychology. He worked as a drug and alcohol therapist for over five years at Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Center Township, Pa. Preceding him in death, besides his father, were a brother, William Curtis Hager in 1990; and a sister, Karelyn Hager, who passed away Sept. 23, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Gwendolyn Hager; cherished son, Kai Benjamin Hager; mother Marilyn (Richard H.) Fuge; brother, Aaron (Stephanie Ann) Hager of Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.; sister, Arberdella (Paul) Mounts of Ashtabula; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and his wife''s family. A Celebration of Life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at the Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
