Obituary for Edward W. Martin
Edward William Martin died Dec. 20, 2012. He was born in Verdun, Quebec in 1925. Ed moved to Cleveland in 1947, where he worked at Lincoln Electric until his retirement in 1987. Mr. Martin was the brother to the late Benjamin, Eileen and Archibald. Ed was an avid golfer and accomplished woodworker. Survivors are his beloved wife of 62 years, Shirley Elizabeth (nee Kraiger); children, Jeffrey (Bonnie), Gregory (Cal Leslie), Larry (Julie), and Laura Lee (Stephen Misencik); grandchildren, Amanda, Alyson, Justin (Heather); brother, Andre; and two sweet granddogs, Lola and Murphy. Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Church, 13968 Chillicothe Road, Novelty.
