Obituary for Jeanette Strasinski Rowley

Mrs. Jeanette (Jean) Rowley 81 of Ansonia died Tuesday at the Griffin Hospital. She is the widow of William "Red" Rowley. Born in Seymour on August 25, 1932 of the late John and Helen (Gazda) Strasinski. A Graduate of the Seymour High School, communicant of the Church of the Assumption and is a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors are daughter Karen Bacon of New Haven sons Mark W. Rowley of W. Haven and Sean (Pamela) Rowley of Ansonia sister Henrietta Steckert of Seymour 5 grandchildren Derek, Andrew and Dylan Bacon, Sean, Christopher Rowley and Great-granddaughter Sophia Bacon.Predeceased by sisters Sophia Byrk, Stella Waskowicz and Frances Poeta and brothers Theodore and Walter Strasinski.On Friday Here Funeral Service will leave the Bennett Home, 91. N. Cliff St at 9:00 to Church of the Assumption for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
