AUSTINTOWN – Services will be Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Richard W. Leach, 70, who died Wednesday evening at Hospice House. Richard was born Dec. 25, 1938 in Youngstown, the son of Robert Emit and Myrna Waller Leach. He had worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in its E.R. and cast room for over 17 years and later at Orthopedic Associates as a cast room technician for 23 years, before retiring in 1999. He was a charter member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife, the former Marie B. Danko, whom he married Jan. 3, 1959; a daughter, Barbara (David) Fercana of Youngstown; two sisters, Myrna (Donald) Strange of Austintown and Margaret (Paul) Holovitch of Boardman; and a granddaughter, Jessica Fercana. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Robert Leach. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel
